Lance Hidy is a well-known American poster designer, whose own monoline poster lettering was the basis of this type. Ranging through four serif variations and four weights of each, this is a set of titling capitals based on classical Roman proportions, but also showing modernist characteristics. The resulting versatility alows for a wide range of uses, and was originally released as a multiple master (MM) type. This was a technology devised by Adobe to allow users to set parameters for intermediate weights or styles between two or more opposing axes (i.e. sans to serif, or light to black) in the design master. | | |
